Chris, Bryce Dallas Howard & director Jodie Markell will be on-hand for the premiere of The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond on September 12th. The movie has a runtime of of 102 minutes. Loss of a Teardrop Diamond will be one of 312 films from 64 different countries premiering at the festival next month. Here is the festival's synopsis of the film:
The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond Jodie Markell, USA World Premiere In this rediscovered original screenplay by Tennessee Williams, young and rebellious socialite Fisher Willow (Bryce Dallas Howard), already tainted by family scandal, defies social convention and falls in love with farm hand Jimmy Dobyne (Chris Evans). The relationship is jeopardized when the loss of a priceless diamond sets off a series of accusations and betrayals that threaten to shatter their hopes for the future. Also starring Ellen Burstyn, Mamie Gummer, Ann-Margret and Will Patton, The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond is produced by Brad Michael Gilbert/Constellation Entertainment.
The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond will have its World Premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on Sept. 12 at 6:30 PM. With this news we are keeping our eyes open for production stills from the film. They should be hitting the net soon. We will bring you more news on the festival as we get it.

Hey everyone. Capone here, with my third and final PUSH interview, this time with FANTASTIC FOUR star Chris Evans, who plays a "mover," otherwise known as a telekinetic, who can move shit around with his mind. Obviously, Chris is best known as the Human Torch (during the PUSH panel this somewhat large contingent of Japanese attendees kept yelling "Flame on!" whenever Chris spoke), but it's his post-FF work that has interested me in films like FIERCE PEOPLE, Danny Boyle's SUNSHINE, and David Ayer's dirty-cop drama STREET KINGS. Hell, I even dug him in THE NANNY DIARIES. Chris has started pulling together a nice body of work in recent years, and he returns to the super-powered being arena with PUSH. Here's Chris Evans…Flame On!
